Originally I already had 2 of these books but had not started reading them yet. I like to wait until I have a whole series before starting a series. Then I saw where all the books could be bought as a box set. Once I added up how much more it would cost me to buy the other books that I did not have, it would have cost me more than buying the whole set—so I did. And I am glad now that I got them all before starting to read them or I would have been very upset having to wait for each individual book to be published—you would not have wanted to stop reading after each one of them. The ending to each book made you want to know what happened next! Each ending was an event that was so dangerous and so suspenseful that unless you had the next book to read you would be filled with impatience and anxiety—at least that is the way I felt.The series was all about what America could have been like if Germany had won WWII & defeated America—no freedom of speech, history that was re-written so no one knew what it was really like in America before Hitler took over, government control of the media, the elimination of anyone who did not agree with the government, etc. You get the idea. Grace the main character of the story, the American Fuhrer’s daughter, had no idea what the Nazi party was really like or even what her own father was really like. Until one day her eyes got opened for her by some hidden photos. Grace might have been raised to be a Nazi but her heart was not a Nazi—she could not accept what was happening to innocent people and especially by her own father. So she ran away with a trusted servant. From then on Grace was hunted by not only her father but by the Director of the Nazi party. She suffered one atrocity after another and witnessed the cruelty imposed on many others. She soon became a rebel and also the hope of the American people.
The whole story was full of suspense and made me anxious to get to the end to see how it was all going to end. I do have to say that about 10% of the time I did not like Grace but she made up for it in the last 98% of the story. The bad characters were such monsters that you loved to hate them. There was a touch of romance in the story but the story was not a story about romance. There was no profanity in the story or any sex scenes, which I appreciated. It just goes to show you that great stories can be written without those 2 things.

After a multitude of miraculous saves, destiny and Grace become one. This is an adventure during a dark time in an alternate future.
Plenty of action from beginning to end. Many unexpected turns in the plot. Very enjoyable reading.
Not very well written. I found the story boring. I wanted very much to like it.
Great Story, with great creativity starting from "What if the Nazi party reigned another 70 years?"
The human capacity for evil may know no bounds but Godliness even in a few can outmaneuver the evil.
This is a good read with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.
The details of how the end was to play out were not predictable and that helped maintain the suspense.

The ploy worked on me. I ordered book one of this series for free on my . Usually I can read the free one and not be tempted to purchase the rest of the series because they are usually mediocre books. This story line was outside of my usual interest. However, it kept my interest and at the end of book one there was no question...I wanted to find out what happened! They are easy enjoyable reads!
This book takes us on a ride rewriting history as we know it. The 'what if?' post WWll is indeed a scary tale with Nazi Germany and its' racist, communistic way of life in world power. A very well written story of vileness, redemption, and pride into a blood and guts thriller!
As an avid WW2 history buff and fan of such novels, I will admit I was a bit hesitant to read this set of books.Alternate history never really resonated with me. Decided to give it a try as I am a student of all things Nazi. It was FANTASTIC. It takes up root with the Nazi's winning WW2 and literally rewriting history. The journey of the Fuhrer's Daughter from a Nazi to what she becomes at the end was terrific. Near constant action, subterfuge, lies, spies and of course Nazi's made these books a real joy to read. It's a rare occasion that when a series ends, I am upset and looking for a bit more, but this one did just that! Grab this set and take a ride in post WW2 Nazi America !
